At Freshtoday, we believe great food starts with great people and in Donegal, that means a local team who care deeply about the schools and communities we serve. From chefs and heating-facility operatives to route planners, delivery drivers, customer service, sales, and logistics, every person plays a part in making sure each student receives a hot, nutritious meal they can enjoy and rely on.
We operate two heating facilities: Letterkenny and Buncrana, to keep supply lines short and service punctual across the county. Meals arrive chilled to our facilities, are regenerated to precise time/temperature standards, and dispatched on carefully planned routes so they reach schools safely, on time, and at peak quality every day.
Donegal is rich in food producers. By sourcing locally where we can across Donegal and the North West, we reduce food miles, support rural jobs, and deliver fresher ingredients to students think crisp Irish vegetables, quality dairy, meats, and seasonal fruit that reflect the best of our region.
