Sustainable Packaging Solutions
We continually review our packaging to reduce waste and eliminate single-use plastics wherever possible. Currently, we use fully compostable containers for hot meals and are introducing recyclable or compostable options for cold meals and snacks. We actively collaborate with packaging partners to trial innovative, eco-friendly solutions while ensuring that all our packaging meets strict food safety requirements and maintains the temperature and quality of each meal.
Smarter Logistics & Delivery
Our Donegal delivery model minimises environmental impact while keeping meals fresh and on time. Chilled meals arrive on consolidated runs and are regenerated locally at our Letterkenny and Buncrana facilities, reducing long daily mileage across the county. From there, we plan short, efficient final-mile routes to schools, cut empty returns through smart load planning, and use telematics and anti-idling practices to lower fuel use and emissions.
